From June 2010, CSC – Bassano del Grappa is associate member of the European Dancehouse Network. In this network, some of the most famous and active centres in the European contemporary dance scene are involved. Its aim and mission are to promote and support artists who are active in the dance panorama, as well as their artistic and professional growth. Connection – Development – Support are key words for the partner members that commit themselves to activities that cross the boundaries and allow them to reach results which could not be achieved individually. The projects of the network are founded on the fundamental concepts of sharing experiences and opportunities among the various members. The organisations involved in the EDN are committed to constant dialogue on artistic, organisational, cultural, social and political issues connected to dance and to the dance culture international development. The promoted experiences are furthered in the training, research, support to the creation and artistic mobility, as well as in the continuous promotion and education of a new and various public. The network is also committed to spreading the different acquired experiences on international level, in order to support the development of all the realities of its own members. In 2009 EDN achieved the European Union’s support so as to further the multi-year project ModulDance.
