Already considered the plaga solatia by the historian Paladini, Borso del Grappa stretches out at the foot of the Grappa Mountain allowing it to spread out in the infinite plain, punctuated by the skyline of cities appearing at the horizon. A territory greatly suited to tourism and sporting activities, it is among the first in Europe for free flight, with a myriad of nature trails and local wine-and-food features. It also offers interesting historical, artistic and cultural venues, from the Palaeolithic burial tombs to Caio Vettonio’s sarcophagus, from the sites of the Great War to the paintings of Da Ponte.
Villa Lunardi
Villa Lunardi, built in the 19th century, was the favourite residence of the famous tenor singer Giovanni Lunardi from the year 1905 to 1920. The Villa today is owned by the local municipality and is the seat of various associations and hosts the museum dedicated to the artist.
