Cassola, an extensive city neighbouring with Bassano del Grappa, traces its roots to pre-Roman times with the presence of the Palaeovenetian civilization. From 1404 until the Risorgimento it was part of the Serenissima Republic of Venice. Its rich territory today is featured by villas set in an industrial, artisanal and agricultural context, specializing in the production of the White Asparagus with the D.O.C guarantee mark.

S.Giuseppe di Cassola
Recently built, the square of San Giuseppe di Cassola consists of a newly renovated building, housing a branch of Town Hall offices, library and the Parish Church. This town centre is the meeting point for the entire area.

San Zeno di Cassola
The park to the north of the square of San Zeno di Cassola, now under renovation, and close to the sports grounds is also used as playgrounds for the elementary schools in the west. It has now become a very suggestive site for recreational activities in general.
