Barrani, in Tunisian, is the foreigner, literally "the one who comes from outside (el barra)", the one who has taken the journey to Europe. This research work is dedicated to the generation of the diaspora, non-native European citizens: an individual and collective question on departure and arrival, on a nostalgic present, and the future seen as a return to the past. Barrani is a performance-concert in which dance, poetry and sound allow a new writing of the self, between present, past and future.
