National premiere

In Turn On, Soraya Leïla Emery explores female pleasure through the lens of her dual cultural heritage. Joined by two dancers raised between two identities, she blends techniques from martial arts to orientalist imagery in a space reshaped by light and sound. Moving alone and together, their bodies form striking tableaux vivants, vi brating and resisting in a repetitive pursuit that leads to exhaustion, freeing themselves and the audience alike.
