LEIM

LEIM was a biannual leadership program that aims to find, cultivate and invest in the next generation of cultural entities in the field of contemporary dance, meaning: curators, planners and managers. It was an innovative research and action program, which offers participants specific and valuable hands-on experiences within national and European organizations that are highly competent in the dance field. The program intended to build a community of cultural entities able to perform multiple roles within different horizontal organizations (i.e. “multi-players”) and to stimulate the creative development of these by the exchange and interaction with government authorities, with artists, as well as with the communities external to the usual cultural context in which they operate.  It was a cooperative program between five major European dance companies in addition to the CSC “Casa della danza” of Bassano: “Dance Ireland” from Dublin (Ireland), “Mercat de Les Flors” from Barcellona (Spain), “Dance House Lemesos” (Cyprus), “Tanzhaus nrw” from Dusseldorf (Germany).
