Near Misses by choreographer Fotini Stamatelopoulou is a per formative, sonic installation born from rituals related to ex-votos and protective gear. Combining dynamic and historical research on hu man anatomy, metallic objects form a personal armor and altar of strength and hope. The piece investigates contemporary faith, the need for freedom within vulnerability, and collective empowerment, echoing the challenges of physicality against fear and failure.
The presentation of the Performance was supported by Onassis Stegi Touring Program
