Il mio canto in A (My Song in A) originates as a collective extension of the solo Dove cresce ciò che salva | Archivio sentimentale del movimento (Where That Which Saves Grows | Sentimental Archive of Movement).  This work, too, will emerge from a creative workshop for professional and amateur dancers, in which Francesca Foscarini will lead an exploration of the relationship between body, voice, and matter. The slowed-down movement of the bodies will be accompanied by the sound of the letter A, uttered by each performer to support and guide the gesture.
Voices layered into an uninterrupted polyphonic chorus, leaving no room for silence. Accompanied by the sound of stones - dry, muffled, generated by their movement and fall - which enters the soundscape, amplifying its perceptual intensity. Voices and sounds will compose a soundscape within which the audience can move freely, immersed in a collective experience that evokes the primordial dimension of sound and breath.
