B.Motion Danza 2021 goes digital! From August 19th to 22nd, connect with the festival on zoom and on social media for a rich programme of physical practices, conversations and special videos.

Every morning will start at 10am CEST with conversations around the topic of Engagement hosted by dance dramaturgs and artists Monica Gillette, Mia Habib, Merel Heering, Tyrone Isaac-Stuart with international guests, and physical practices led by artists Chisato Ohno, Bella Whawhai Waru and Sangeeta Isvaran (till 1pm CEST).
The topic will be investigated from different perspectives:
August 19th: engagement and loyalty with Merel Heering
August 20th: engagement and conflict with Mia Habib (supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Italy)
August 21st: engagement and resilience with Tyrone Isaac-Stuart.
August 22nd: engagement and the self with Monica Gillette in conversation with Chisato Ohno, Bella Whawhai Waru e Sangeeta Isvaran.

The practices and dialogues are free of charge, but registration is required at this link (only 100 places are available).

In the afternoon, don’t miss all the interviews with the artists performing at B.Motion, meetings with international guests and a special journey with dance in the city of Bassano, all available on Operaestate’s facebook and Instagram accounts and on youtube as well.

And if the Maestro is the guide we all look for, Marigia Maggipinto is one of the last artists to have worked directly side by side with Bausch. Just as in Degas’ painting, Miss Lala, where a trapeze artist is ready to jump into the void, so Maggipinto gets back in the game as a living archive.
