For his new creation, Tumbleweed studies the behaviour of the crowd and its language. The social group evolves as a super-organisation, working for the survival of each individual, deploying each singularity in a coherent collective movement. But the more the individual focuses on himself, the more he wants to assert his self-interest, the more he becomes detached from the community. In A Very Eye the audience, sharing the stage with the dancers and the trajectories they weave, becomes part of this constant negotiation of space and distance, in an immersive experience that invites reflection: does a collective intelligence exist and what is the value of a single individual within a society?

An emerging choreographer on the Luxembourg scene, Sarah Baltzinger began her career in 2010, first as a performer, then as a choreographer. Vénus Anatomique is her ninth work, in which she brings together five dancers in a raw white light that highlights the brutality of the overexposure of the female body. To address the theme, Sarah Baltzinger takes as a reference the fascinating reproductions of Clemente Susini, created at the end of the 18th century, artificial bodies intended for teaching female anatomy to medical students. The choreography is conceived and represented in a continuous back and forth between the disintegration of bodies and their instinctive strength of conservation and frenetic reaction to survive, with puppet-like and mechanical gestures. Working on the idea of puppets that exist only in the eye of the beholder and whose sole mission is to perform an anatomical function, pushing the concept of uniformity to the limit.

The entire community is involved in transforming the old piazza into a courtyard that welcomes the audience-diners. In the background stands the ancient 17th-century trattoria, which even in the Middle Ages served as a hostel for travelers and pilgrims. Beyond the theatrical creation, there's also cuisine based on local flavors with recipes passed down through generations, all for a "Happy Hour." At its core is the very need to reconnect, to discover the meaning of things in an increasingly bewildering world.

The audience sits at tables: it's the opening night of a new place and a new adventure in the world of wine, led by two women who resigned from their previous lives. The pace is exhilarating, the story intoxicating, full of misunderstandings and plot twists, all fueled by wine – the absolute protagonist along with the tales of those who decided to leave their lives behind to invent new ones.

Madalena Reversa, an artistic project founded by Maria Alterno and Richard Pareschi, reflects on the relationship between the human and the invisible in Salomé, the title and name of the protagonist, played by the dancer and choreographer Gloria Dorliguzzo. The biblical character who has been represented countless times in the figurative arts, in literature, in theater and in cinema, also inspired the homonymous tragedy by Oscar Wilde, to which the Madalena Reversas turned. For them, therefore, Salomé is a trope, biblical, modern and contemporary, a mirror of a humanity fallen in a world of fallen institutions, a symbol of the hypertrophy of the ego, in metaphysical boredom, in the "missed glances with what is sacred and ineffable". But still, the character becomes the vector that opens the door to barbarism, to having believed in some sort of eternal present. Salome's body, ecstatic and at the same time crossed by hysterical gestures, dissolves into a hieratic indolence. Salome is an elegy to absence, until there is no more light, until all that remains is loss.
