In Sole e Baleno the dramaturgical structure echoes that of Brecht and Weil's The Threepenny Opera. On stage, dialogues, songs and electronic music unravel a tale that brings together the parables of Romeo and Juliet and Sacco and Vanzetti in a single drama, in which the great engines of tragedy act: love and death, power and injustice.
The story is freely inspired by a true story that really happened in the 1990s, that of Sole and Baleno, two young people united by their idealism. When the court in Turin accuses them of being responsible for some episodes of eco-terrorism, they are imprisoned for subversive association. The accusation will be invalidated by the Court of Cassation in 2001, but the harshness of that preventive detention plunges them into despair and they both choose to kill themselves within a few months of each other.

A musical walk will open Terre Graffiate 2025. It will take place on the Vicenza side of Monte Grappa, moving through forests and green fields. Along the way, you'll see great views of the flatlands and reminders of the two World Wars.

The music will be played by the AARS Guitar Quartet. This group has four young, talented guitarists who have won prizes in big music contests. Their music will take you on a journey from Europe to Latin America, mixing old classical styles with new sounds. They will play songs by famous guitar composers.

Afànisi investigates the relationship between reality and the gaze that observes it, where the spectator is no longer passive but an active creator of the work in front of him. He is actually asked: but what do you want to see? And then he is invited to answer privately but in a lightning-fast, not meditated way. Free association, the most classic of the rules of psychoanalysis: think of the first thing that comes to mind, whatever it is. Each spectator will answer inside himself to a sequence of questions, with which he will physically design - with the help of the performers - his own show in the empty space. His sudden, apparently unmotivated choices will soon reveal themselves and will concern him in an unexpected way. Each person will see a different show from the person sitting next to them, a theatre that is no longer what one looks at, but what one is looked at by.

National Premiere

Lilian Terry, the lady of Italian jazz, who passed away recently, is remembered during the festival’s traditional evening dedicated entirely to jazz.
She is also honored as the founder and driving force behind the Dizzy Gillespie Popular School of Music in Bassano, where many musicians—now key figures on the music scene—received their training. Many of them will take the stage in Piazza Libertà for this special occasion.
Alongside them, around ten groups will be performing throughout the city, representing the various expressions and styles of contemporary jazz, in a program curated in collaboration with the Bacàn Music Association.

Aganis is a composition for two voices and live electronics. It comes from a sound research in some caves of the Venetian pre-Alps that were said to be inhabited by the anguane, mythological figures connected to the water sources, with voices inaudible to the human ear.
Aganis takes the form of an immersive quadraphonic installation inhabited by the performers and the audience; a space for listening in which to widen the ear and welcome the voices of the mythical figures. A search for connection with the inaudibility of their cry, with the unheard, the ignored or the imagined. Activating an imaginary that passes through the damp and dark holes they inhabit, touching inhuman and mineral voices, until it becomes a host space for the anguane and their shelters.
